Stephanie M. Romo, Director of Operations

HFK Director of Operations (2015-Present). Graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California (May 2015): Majored in Biology Pre-Medicine.

Passions include: medicine, children, her family and friends, serving others, running and soccer. " I love that God has called me to be a part of Here For Kids. I could not imagine a more fruitful and growing gap year. I hope to one day have the opportunity to serve underprivileged communities as a doctor. "

My first trip to Peru in 2012 with HFK sparked within me a passion for travel and service, which has kept me coming back for more!"

Wilita Sanguma, Leadership Training

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo and received his BA in Political Science from Fresno State University. He earned a master’s degree in International Studies with an emphasis in peace and conflict resolution at the University of San Francisco. Prior to his role as Assistant Director at USF, Wilita was a Resident Minister for two years, worked at the School of Management as a Program Assistant in the Office of Budget and Finance, and later as Manager in the Office of Administration and Operations.

Passions include: sports, faith, children, service, and mental health.
