HFK Night at the Giants Game

In the Spring of 2026, HFK formalized a partnership with the San Francisco Giants baseball team!
In addition to receiving baseball specific donations to take on our trips, this partnership also includes a partner spotlight at one of their games. The timing worked out to have our spotlight game the Friday of our annual HFK Retreat. Our retreat brings together our Board Members, Staff, Team Captains, and Global Ambassador for a weekend of fellowship and celebration. This game kicked off our 2026 Retreat Weekend!
We had the opportunity to invite our 50 closest HFK friends and family to join us at our first-ever HFK Night at the Giants game. In addition to our Staff, Board, Team Captains, and Global Ambassador; we were able to invite local donors and alumni to join. As a partner, we were able to set up a table at their Community Clubhouse and have an HFK Spotlight on the big screen with photos and a script read out loud for all fans to see!

It was beautiful to see so many encounters of people that had last seen each other on a trip in another country without knowing when they would see each other again. Lots of hugs and smiles!
Our Community Clubhouse table served as an HFK social hub, where we connected with HFK Family & Friends that kept showing up throughout the evening. We were very grateful for the local donors and alumni that came! It was so fun to re-connect and introduce them to other HFK friends that shared the common love for service.
Then, the moment we were all waiting for - HFK on the big screen! Various pictures from our trips in addition to our logo with a QR code to learn more were featured on the big screen while a short announcement of our trips was read for all fans to hear!
It was a typical beautifully-foggy evening at the Giants game!
We also had the opportunity to connect with new people that were interested in HFK either by walking by our table or having heard about us on the big screen. We handed out flyers to give them an opportunity to learn more about HFK and how to get involved!
We are very grateful for this opportunity and for the blessing to be featured as one of the Giants’ partners. Thank you to all who supported us with their presence and energy, looking forward to the next one!
