HFK Family Reunion 2026
On August 16, 2026, the HFK Family came together once again for our 3rd Annual HFK Family Reunion! π
HFK alumni, staff, board members, friends, and family gathered in Lafayette, California, for an afternoon full of familiar faces, new connections, fun, and fellowship. With the reunion taking place not far from where HFK was originally founded, it was the perfect setting to celebrate how much our community has grown while staying connected to the roots that started it all.
From games and good food to catching up with old friends and making new memories, it was such a special afternoon with the HFK Family.
Take a look at some of our favorite moments below! β¬οΈ
The Fun
The Connections
The 2026 HFK Family Reunion continued a tradition that has become such a special part of the HFK community. Held once again at the Lafayette Reservoir in Lafayette, CA, this yearβs reunion brought together 41 members of the extended HFK Family, including alumni, current staff and board members, and friends and family who continue to support our mission.
After celebrating HFKβs 15-year anniversary at last yearβs reunion, this year was all about continuing to bring our community together. With attendees representing HFK trips from across the past 15+ years, the afternoon was a fun opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and share memories from years of serving together.
The fun started as soon as everyone arrived! Guests added their own touch to their name tags and took Polaroid photos to leave behind in our reunion guestbook. We also brought back Human Bingo, which had everyone moving around, starting conversations, and learning a few fun facts about each other along the way. By the end, several guests were only one square away from a Bingo! Everyone had the chance to enter our raffle, with some fun prizes waiting to be won later in the afternoon.
Throughout the afternoon, everyone gathered around the picnic tables to enjoy a shared meal, catch up, and swap stories from past trips. HFK Executive Director, Diego RΓos, also shared updates about the organization and a look at whatβs ahead for HFK. Later, the afternoon continued with volleyball, lawn games, and our raffle, with plenty of cheering for the winners!
Having people together who have been part of HFK at so many different points in our story was a special reminder that the relationships formed through these experiences can extend far beyond a single service trip. Whether someone served with us recently or more than a decade ago, each person continues to be part of the HFK Family.
Weβre so grateful to everyone who joined us for another year of reconnecting, celebrating, and making new memories. Weβre looking forward to seeing where the next year takes the HFK community! π
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our 3rd annual Family Reunion.
We are so excited for the continuation of this tradition and hope youβll join us next time!
