Peru Summer Trip - Jun 2027

This trip offers an international service experience in Andahuaylas, Peru.
Below are some important details about this upcoming trip.

The last day to apply for this trip is April 5, 2027.

PARTNER SUPPORT

This team will serve Friends of Peru as we learn about their ministry and the impact they have in their community. During our time together, team members will interact with the kids from the ministry, the staff, teachers, and coaches, and the local community that our partner serves. We will also provide financial and physical support to further aid in their year-round ministry.

“Friends of Peru exists to share the love of Christ and provide hope, healing, and empowerment to those in need throughout Peru. We partner with local communities to create lasting change through faith-based initiatives. Currently Friends of Peru operates Casa Suyanna ("House of Hope") a vibrant ministry center in Andahuaylas, Peru, providing holistic, gospel-centered support across generations. Serving as a true sanctuary for the community, the center empowers local young adults through safe spaces, nutritious meals, mental health resources, and mentorship, while equipping indigenous Quechuan women with life-changing micro-loans, business training, and spiritual support circles.

Our relationship with Here For Kids goes back to 2008. Over the years, many visiting teams have blessed our home center and community—especially through soccer clinics and generous donations. Many children who are now adults still cherish the soccer clinics as special moments where they had fun, built meaningful relationships, and heard the gospel. We are deeply grateful for our lasting connection with Here For Kids and are excited to continue partnering together.”

While we partner with faith-based organizations, it is not a requirement to adhere to a specific religion or belief to join us. We strive to provide an equal opportunity to all individuals interested in our service trips, hoping that each life will be uniquely transformed. That being said, we ask each participant to be respectful of each other and of our partners, and to remain open to conversing about the things that make us different as well as the commonalities that bring us together.

TEAM CAPTAINS

Your Team Captains for this trip will be Marlon Meza & Alidanifher Diaz. Here is a message from them:

My name is Alidanifher Diaz, and I’m so excited to be serving as a Team Captain for our trip to Andahuaylas, Peru!

I’ve known Here for Kids for a long time through Randy Farris, HFK’s former president, who has been a big part of my life and my family’s for many years. Because of that connection, HFK has always been something close to my heart.

I’ve always loved serving others, meeting new people, and learning about their cultures and the way they see the world. I also love working with kids, so getting to spend time with them, play with them, and build real connections is what I’m most excited about on this trip.

I truly believe God has blessed me and my family in so many ways, and I feel that one of the best ways I can show my gratitude is by serving others. I’m thankful He has given me this opportunity, and I can’t wait to see what He has planned for us in Peru.

I’m so excited to share this experience with all of you.

-Alidanifher
