This trip offers an international service experience in Palmira, Colombia.
Below are some important details about this upcoming trip.
The last day to apply for this trip is May 31, 2027.
PARTNER SUPPORT
This team will serve the Fundación Centro Misionero de Esperanza (Hope Mission Center) and a variety of other local churches/pastors as we learn about their ministries and the impact they have in their community. During our time together team members will interact with ministry staff, local schools, and children and adults from the community that our partners serve. We will also provide financial and in-kind donations to further aid in their year-round ministries.
“Hope Mission Center is a non-profit organization designed to serve the communities of Palmira, Colombia.” HMC serves children by partnering with local churches and pastors who go into underserved communities to pray, distribute food, and connect through sport and other activities. Serving with HMC might include moments of prayer, attending Christian church services, listening to Bible teachings & worship, and participating in other religious focused experiences.
While we partner with faith-based organizations, it is not a requirement to adhere to a specific religion or belief to join us. We strive to provide an equal opportunity to all individuals interested in our service trips, hoping that each life will be uniquely transformed. That being said, we ask each participant to be respectful of each other and of our partners, and to remain open to conversing about the things that make us different as well as the commonalities that bring us together.
SPECIAL INFO
We are a Global Partner of Reality San Francisco and are excited to offer two Reality SF specific trips this year!
This Summer trip will be the third year in a row we partner with Reality to offer a service trip! We are so excited to see the team of returners and newcomers that God puts together.
This is a great opportunity for participants to discern God's calling for service in their lives and create life-long bonds while serving alongside like-minded people! While anyone is welcome to apply for this trip, we are specifically inviting congregants of Reality SF church and their friends.

TEAM CAPTAINS
Your team captains for this trip will be Agustina Singh & Diego Rios. Here is a message from them:
I have been attending Reality SF since January 2023 and had the pleasure of leading the inaugural HFK trip to Costa Rica in 2025. This will be the 3rd HFK trip as a captain and 8th HFK trip.
I am so excited to travel with other Reality congregants and community members and get to know a new partner site!
Join us for a week full of fun, service, and ministry!
-Agustina
Hello there! HFK has played a huge part in my life both personally and professionally since my first trip in 2015. The pillars of my life align with HFK’s mission and vision: Kids, Sports, Latin America, Traveling, and God!
Our partnership with Reality SF has been a blessing! We are grateful for the last two trips we’ve offered to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. I am excited to co-lead our third “Reality SF & Friends” trip alongside my wife, Agustina! After attending Reality SF for three years, Agustina and I have felt called to pour into our church community in various ways. First as CG leaders, then as volunteers for the Drop-In Center, then leading HFK’s first ever “Reality & Friends” trip, and now doing it again!
The opportunity to go through this unique and life-forming experience is a blessing. Additionally, being able to share it with others takes it to a deeper level. This is an experience some of your family and friends will never understand, yet you will forever share with others who begin as strangers and end as family.
I look forward to following God’s vision for this team and for you to live out the eternal joy of service! I will share the knowledge and tips I’ve learned throughout my 10 years traveling with HFK while learning from each Trip Participant and our partners in the process.
-Diego
